What is Flash? Do I need it?
Adobe Flash (formerly Macromedia Flash) is a timeline-based web tool used to create animation and interactivity on websites. Websites can consist solely of Flash, or partially. Sites using Flash require the user to use a Flash plugin for their viewing browser. Flash has quickly become a very popular tool to get information and imagery across in limited real estate on a website.
